Once again the feeling of loneliness
When she lay in bed and her mind a mess
All her wishes had been granted
Living a life she deemed enchanted
Little by little her fantasies crumbled
By her pillow the tears were mumbled
“They’ll always leave you,” the voice muttered
In choked up tears a prayer she uttered
With her hands clasped tight
Pleading “help me in this fight”
Swiftly comes the serene embrace
Oh the splendor of heavenly grace
“I’ll never leave,” I hear Him say
In joyful cries I start to sway
“You’re real special,” God says to me
“If only I could make you see”
I look up in disbelief
Into joy he’s transformed my grief
Now I am forever His
Oh what a glorious bliss.
