Bisteces de res

6-7 Chiles pasilla

5 tomates verdes

2 Dientes de ajo

1/4 de cebolla

2 Tbsps Consome de Pollo en polvo

2 papas

Un poco de aceite

Thin cut steaks

6-7 Pasilla peppers

5 Green tomatoes

2 Garlic cloves

1/4 of an onion

2 Tbsps Chicken Bouillon Granules

2 Potatoes

Cooking oil

First, wash the green tomatoes and place them to boil with water in a small pot.

Meanwhile, wash the potatoes and peel them. Then, chop them into small cubes (as shown in video).

Once the tomatoes change tones in color (darker green), it’s time to take then them out. Place them on a plate for now. In that same boiling water, add the pasilla peppers to boil. The pasilla peppers are very crispy before they’re boiled since they’re dry chili pepper. When they boil, they become soft, so when you’re able to bend the pepper easily that means you can take it out.

On a large pan, add a drizzle of oil to heat on the pan. Then, season the steaks with pepper and garlic salt. Once the oil is hot, you can add the steaks. Leave them to cook for 15 minutes on one side, then flip. Add the potatoes at this moment. Add pepper and garlic salt to that side as well. Then leave them to cook for another 15 minutes.

Then grab a blender, add the boiled tomatoes and pasilla peppers. Then add the 2 garlic cloves, 1/4 of an onion, and 2 tbsps of chicken bouillon granules and blend.

Once the 15 minutes have passed, pour the sauce in with the steaks and potatoes through a strainer. Make sure to spread the sauce and let it boil for 25 minutes. Now, it is ready to serve! Bon appetit!
