  • Aaron here! I’m the other half of what makes up @elsol.y.laflor. 🌞+🌻 Mari had the great idea of having us reintroduce ourselves. Community is extremely important to us, so making sure y’all know who we are and what we’re about feels like a good first step. Here are a few facts about me: 1. I learned how to shoot manual on a camera in a dream, circa 2014 (after watching a bunch of YouTube tutorials, it finally clicked in a dream I had that night, it sounds cooler than it is) 2. I spent 6 years in the Army as a Combat Photographer and just recently got out. It was fun, but I’m glad to be a civilian again! 3. On that note; I’ve traveled to Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, Columbia, the Bahamas, and Germany to take photos during my time in the Army (I love traveling!) 4. My day job is in cybersecurity, but my passion is creating art through photography, 3D design, and eventually music 5. I am a freaking father!!! Like what!! We’ve been blessed with the most perfect baby boy, being a father is so much fun! 6. My favorite shows right now are Delicious in Dungeon, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and George Lopez 7. I’m a nerd and I’m proud!😎 I love D&D, video games, anime, just about anything nerdy I like 8. I love taking naps (Marifer hates taking naps) 9. I still play RuneScape…lol 10. And just like Mari, last but not least, we are a household that loves God!
  • Mari here! 👋 I’m half of what makes up @elsol.y.laflor. 🌞+🌻 I thought I’d re-introduce myself! I actually came into the photography community while being in front of the camera and became fascinated by this channel of creativity. Here are a few facts about me: 1. I ended up picking up a camera and learning to use it for a film class I took in college for my theater minor (back in 2018) — and I fell in love with it. 🫶🏼 2. I’m a MOM! To an angel boy who is MY WORLD alongside the best daddy in the world who is a total ✨daddy✨ @9banger . 💓 3. I avoid driving at ALL COSTS.🙅🏻‍♀️ 4. I love thrift shopping and going to vintage markets and farmers markets. 🛍️ 5. I love going to local coffee shops ☕️ 6. Dancing is my therapy (I freestyle) 💃🏻 7. I LOVE live music! 🎶 8. I love meeting new people and have a passion for community. 💕 9. Favorite movies 🎥: Little Women (1949 film exclusively), Pink Panther, and 27 Dresses 10. Last and certainly NOT least, I love Jesus! ✝️
  • Sometimes all you need is to be near the one you love, fully engulfed in their presence, not a care in the world. It was so much fun to capture moments like that with Maya & Brandon! We hardly gave them any direction, their love for each other led the photoshoot! 🌞+🌻
  • Head in the clouds kinda love ☁️ ✨ We’re still beaming over this set with Brandon and Maya! BTW: If you’re looking for a photographer duo that will become your fans and forever root for you, you’ve come to the right place. Hi! We’re Aaron and Marifer Schaeper and we cannot wait to work with you! ✨💕
  • Love is a warm embrace, kind of like the evening sun. It’s a safe place for us to be vulnerable, goofy, and fully ourselves. Take Maya and Brandon for example, not even the golden hour light shined as bright as their love during this photoshoot! 🌞+🌻 #elsolylaflor #thelovers

Sometimes all you need is to be near the one you love, fully engulfed in their presence, not a care in the world. It was so much fun to capture moments like that with Maya & Brandon! We hardly gave them any direction, their love for each other led the photoshoot! 🌞+🌻
